* P for Pelican, Peacock or other Birds

Welcome back to the 'Alphabet Challenge'.

I'm back this week for Team A with news of our next challenge,
but first I have another brand new Design Team members to introduce,
so please say hello to Emma.

EMMA

Hi I’m Emma & I live just outside Swindon in Wiltshire on a little farm estate with my Husband & our 2 fur babies, Zosia the 7 month old Schnoodle (mini poodle x mini schnauzer) & Anya our Tabby cat who’s 12 yrs old.

I work in a Finance department of an Education Company & have been there for 12 years - I do moan about the place but it can’t be that bad as I’m still there.

I’ve always liked crafting & could be found with some paper & glue making a mess as a kid. A few years ago I thought ‘right I’m going to make my Christmas cards this year as it won't take too long’ oh how wrong I was, I think I'm still making them now lol. I started off with one little box of bits but that quickly grew into various boxes, draws & random cupboards with all manor of things in. My Husband is now building me a craft room in the garden as I think he's getting a tad fed up with glitter all over the living room - it will be nice to have my own little crafty space that I don't have to tidy up every night :-)

* O for One Layer *

Welcome back to the 'Alphabet Challenge'.

I'm back this week for Team B with news of our next challenge,
but first I have two brand new Design Team members to introduce,
so please say hello to Deanne and Jackie.

DEANNE

My name is Deanne Clarke-Saunders and my hubby and I live in Paradise, Newfoundland Canada. I was an elementary teacher for 23 years but retired early. I am now an Early Childhood Educator (couldn't stay away from the kiddies!) I have always enjoyed playing with paper, scissors, glue and ESPECIALLY crayons and pencil crayons, ever since I've been a small child. I just couldn't stop playing, so I continued by scrapbooking and card-making! I love it!! My hubby calls me a paper hoarder and he MAY be right, but I'd never tell him that! A man doesn't need to know he's right!!
JACKIE

I live in south Hampshire just outside Southampton and am married to Keith who is a very patient man - he needs to be. We have one grown up daughter and I work part-time in a school supporting visually impaired pupils.

I have crafted one way or another for a long time. I can remember as a child making paper lanterns to decorate my room at Christmas. Along the way I have tried many crafts like knitting, rug making, patch work, macrame, crotchet and dress making. About eight years ago I started to notice that some people were making handmade cards, especially at Christmas, and I decided to give this a go myself. Since then I haven't looked back and the house is not full of my crafty stash. I am permanently on a mission to try and organise all my bits and pieces. My crafting is done on the dining room table and my very understanding husband, who often has to eat somewhere else so I can complete a project, doesn't complain. I would like to say that doesn't happen often, but it does.
